New Delhi, 31 May, 2019:  The International Quds Day (Palestine Day), an annual event held here on the every last Friday of Ramadan in solidarity of Palestine and against Israel’s illegal occupation, this year it is organised on Friday, on 31st of  May at Jantar Mantar, opposite Parliament house New Delhi. A rally and demonstration was held under the auspices of the National Council of Shia Ulama and Majlis Ulama-e-Hind at Jantar Mantar. A large number of protesters held placards and shouted slogans like “Baitul Muqaddas ko azad karo” (Liberate Sacred Jerusalem).

Mohammed Younus Siddiqui President All India Muslim unity front addressing the rally on Quds day said that the people of Palestine and Gaza are under Israeli seizure/ control for many years just like prisoners and the peace loving people of the world are sad on the bad conditions of Palestinians and they support Palestine cause. He said that on every last Friday of Ramadan demonstrations are held though out world to highlighted the Palestine cause and to support Palestine and to condemn the American and Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.


Maulana Azgar Molai addressing to the demonstrators said that there are continuous Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinians and Gaza is occupied by Israel.

Addressing to the demonstration Maulana Mohsin Taqwi, Imams Shia Jama Masjid and chairman Shia council said that for many years Israel has continued its aggressive policies against Palestinians and innocent Palestinians are killed day and night and the whole world is silent and not condemning the Israel.

Dr. Tasleem Ahmed Rehmani President Muslim political council of India addressing the rally said that support of Palestine is the support of humanity. He said we welcome the new foreign minister of India and appeal him to support the Palestine cause as the India was doing earlier. He said the United nations has passed many resolutions against Israel but no one asking Israel to withdraw from Palestine land and stop killing the innocent Palestinians.

Mr. Intezar Naim Secretary largest Muslim organization of India Jamaat e Islami hind speaking on the Quds day demonstration said that the situation of Palestine and Gaza is very bad and it is the duty of all of us to stand by Palestine. He appeals the government of India to stand by Palestine cause.

Addressing to the demonstrators Maulana sheikh Askari said that how it is possible that the one community is attacked and nobody is coming to support them, the human rights organizations must take strong action against Israel. He said that it is unfortunate that the Israel is not listening to United Nations resolutions.

Maulana Jalan Haider thanks the speakers and the demonstrators who came in fast and hot season and read the memorandum submitted to the United nations office in new Delhi. The demonstrators passed and supported the memorandum by raising their hands and raising the slogans in favour of Palestine and against Israel and America.

The other leaders attended the meeting are Maulana Mira Imran Ali, Maulana Talib Hussain Zaidi, Maulana Mohammed Raza Zaidi, Maulana Rizwan Haider, Maulana Azhar Abbas, Maulana Mazhar Hussain, Maulana Mira irfaf Ali, Maulana Jamiat Ali, Maulana Qamar Hussain, MaulanaMohammed Baker, Maulana Mardan Ali, Maulana Feeroz Rabbani, Maulana Abul Hassan, Z Ahmed CHAMMAN, Y. Mahdi Faizi, Ali Builder, Today at Hussain Rizwi, Nawabul Hassan, Maulana A bid Abbbas Zaidi and others.

There were about one thousands demonstrators including 100 women and girls.

Demonstrators also burnt the effigies of Israeli prime minister and America President.

Every year on the last Friday of Ramadan Quds day demonstration are held in Delhi, Kashmir, Lucknow and other parts of India.

Press Conference on "Palestine awaits world powers for justice" two days before Quds day in New Delhi

A press conference was addressed by H. E. Dr. Ali Chegeni, Ambassador, Islamic Republic of Iran to India, Mohammed Younus Siddiqui, Maulana Mohsin Taqi, Imam Shia Jama Masjid Delhi and chairman all India shia council,President, Muslim Political Council of India and Maulana Jalal Haider, convener, Imamia World Council  on "Palestine awaits world powers for justice" on 29th May, 2019, at, Aiwane-e- Ghalib, conference Room, Mata Sundri Road, New Delhi 110002. The Press conference was organised by  Imamia World Council just two days before the Quds day (Palestine day). The main object of the press conference was to make Quds day protest successful in India.
